Anfropo
Art industry
At 17, I decided to create ANFROPO, an identity that would represent my work. In my work, I wanted to highlight what is human — everyday life, perspective, and the body. Having always been interested in the history of art and philosophy, I reference famous pieces, styles, or ideas that I encounter during my research. Many pieces explore what is universal, what unites people, and how a person sees the world on a daily basis.
I created a website and started posting my work on instagram. It was my first solo project in the creative sphere which got me introduced to content creation and website making. However I couldn’t continue with this project for long since I moved to France and could not take my works with me. But I continued to work a lot on communication with galleries in order to have my work exposed and I did in a gallery in lithuania and some in France, Paris.

I moved to Paris start of this year, where I wanted to gain some experience. Having already volonteered and worked with galleries I decided to tried to find some work there. I found a job at an art gallery in Marais called Monkey Business Gallery. Given that the team was small there, I got to try out multiple roles. I experienced administration, marketing, management, space curation and website design.

My favorite part of the role was event organization. We organized pop ups and DJ events. Here I worked generally with event organization. Assuring good arrival of merchandise or equipment, curation of space.

Fashion industry
However, I’ve always been interested in fashion, and I hope to start my own brand one day. That’s why I want to gain as much experience in this field as I can. I collaborated with The Botch Store on tech pack design and website design, which gave me an understanding of different fabrics and what happens before clothing is even produced. On the other hand, I always strive to create a smooth customer experience that is both engaging and simple.
